Walking Horn (Ambulatid cornus) by MIKECORRIERO Walking Horn (Ambulatid cornus) by MIKECORRIERO
Walking Horn (Ambulatid-cornus) - also known as a Carrion Seeker

They are neither insects nor crustaceans, though in appearance they share similar traits. The outer surface is covered by a chitinous material similar to an exoskeleton while the inside consist of a thin cartilage based skeleton with a hollow horn. These large (4 ft.) mountain dwelling creatures use their horns much like certain arboreal beetles, in order to push rival males off high cliffs.

Neat. Nice drawing. Wouldn't have guessed it to be mountain dwelling, that's a nice touch and well thought out. Good work. Wouldn't want to bumble across one of these whilst out climbing. Look at the mouth on that thing!
